Active Desks
Active Desk is a quality, affordable sit-stand desk, that improves working conditions by helping employees put an emphasis on healthy ‘active’ habits by making it easier to change positions throughout the day.
By encouraging employees to move between postures you dramatically promote MSK health while boosting your immune system and productivity. Active Desk is therefore used as part of a holistic, integrated approach to help maximise health and well-being.
Boosts your immunity!
Your immune system stands between you and deadly infections. But as you get older so does your immune age, making you more susceptible to disease. Fortunately, ‘Active Desk’ helps you to turn back the clock and stay healthy.
By standing at your desk and incorporating gentle physical exercise into your working day you instantly build up stronger immune cells. Helping you to fight off those deadly diseases and live a more longer, healthier and happier life!
Public Healthy England recommend at least 2 hours of standing a day, building to four hours.
Static desks will become a thing of the past
Sit-stand desks are nothing new and there are some great manufacturers with wonderful products out there. But for most people they are just too expensive to buy!
Active Desk’s main drive for creating the company was to design & develop a ‘quality’ sit-stand desk that was the same cost as a mid range static desk. This way we could help far more people afford to buy one and intern help keep them active and enjoy the benefits that, that brings to their life.
Our desks are designed and manufactured in the UK, which helps keeps costs low. We go direct to the manufacture for our materials and have therefore cut out every middle man you would normally get from a furniture dealer.
With over 208 stylish decors, 23 distinctive finishes and 3 types of edge detail, desks no longer need to be boring!
